This is what I do in my spare time.
Some of the OOAKs (one-of-a-kind) I make are not wedding related.
Enjoy!

My name is Oliver.

Here is a custom figure commission for my return customers, Stephanie and Brynn Watson, of their one year old first born son, Oliver!!

Can you tell that this family is very very very DCCOMICS oriented?! I love all this fandom!! Happy birthday Oliver!

“My name is Oliver. Oliver Watson. After nine months in the dark, I came home with just one goal: to have a family. And I did!! I got the most awesome mom and dad (Steph and Brynn Watson) and I just had my first birthday!
Time to say “Goodby-y-ye pacifier, and hello-o-o Pull-Ups!”
Oh and thank you #StephenAmell for the namesake.”

Diesel – In Loving Memory

This last commission was a little different. A somewhat full circle, of sorts.

This sweet Doberman Pinscher boy was the best friend of the very first bride I sculpted as part of a custom wedding cake topper concept many years ago. Diesel was Mylene’s big boy before she fell in love with a bigger two legged boy, James. Diesel’s custom figure also features resin eyes with high gloss. He will now sit next to his urn, in loving memory of the years they shared together. Having lost my own dog not long ago, this was a journey close to home. Hope you like.

“Professional Burglar”

Here is a 1/6 custom figure sculpture inspired by the true professional feline burglar, Selina Kyle, aka, Catwoman. I made her specifically so after I found the diamond she is holding, and the whole concept came to mind, down to the pearl necklace dangling from her boots.

Simply “J”

Jason Momoa one-of-a-kind figure.

This hand sculpted and hand painted custom figure was made for and donated to SFE’s Evolution Expo Inaugural Charity Gala and Auction last June, 2014. After I gave Jason Momoa my OOAK Khal Drogo sculpture at a Comic Con in late 2013. I was so stoked to meet him; the man is a very down-to-earth giant. So it was easy to accept (yes, rubber arm) making another sculpture for him which of course involved endless hours of looking at his pictures. Woe is me, huh? Nope. I think it turned out great. He did a taste test, and he’s still standing.

Sculpture inspired by Christopher Beyer’s photo shoot with Jason Momoa for “Inked” mag (2011 Getty images). See video for more intel.

Harley Davidson Fat Boy and his Rider

“Dear Sophie,
The figurine is perfect! You did an amazing job, JC loved it and he was so happy with the gift … he has put it on our fireplace mantle for everyone to see.  Thank you for making his 40th birthday extra special with this personalized gift. You are wonderful at what you do, so keep doing it! Hope to do something else with you in the future.
A more than satisfied customer,
Amanda”

“As the Stars Look Down in Witness”

So I’m not the only one that watches Game of Thrones. Khal Drogo was one of my favorite characters and I had been so inspired by the character’s speech from Season 1, Episode 7. I had started blocking the sculpt when I happened to look through the local newspaper (that never happens!) and saw that the actor who portrays The Khal, Jason Momoa, was going to be in town 18 days later. So I got my ducks in a row, and sculpted and toiled almost day and night for the next couple of weeks to engineer and complete this polymer clay/epoxy resin 10.25″ tall one-of-a-kind sculpture. Do I sound like I am proud of it?! Heck yeah I am. Most importantly, HE LIKED IT too. He took it home. Nuff’ said.
