What are your custom figures made of?
The materials used (polymer clay, epoxy, armature wire, paint, ornaments, etc) are all non-toxic, non-edible and very durable. I work with acrylic paints and various water based final coat media for a durable finish.
You offer the resin (iris) eye option. What is this?
Yes, I now use resin eyes (irises) for certain styles of figures depending on the size. Resin irises give a spectacular visual effect, and are added to all figures 8″ (17 cm) tall or higher, for pets/animals/fantasy creatures and for some cartoon/animated figures. Additional fees apply for more specific eyes. More pictures available in the Photos page.
I'm a doll maker, do you make custom resin eyes to order?
I sell custom orders for irises of 2.5mm, 3mm or 4mm in width, for five (5) pairs or more.
How long does it take to make a custom figure?
A custom figure concept involves a minimum of (100) hours of work from sketching to finishing.
Will you make a sketch of my concept?
Yes! To ensure you will love your custom concept, that’s the first step of the process once you have booked your order. The sketch is the first clear visual translation of your custom concept’s details. I start sculpting only once the sketch is approved.
How tall is it and how much does it weigh?
Depends. I’ve sculpted characters under 2 inches tall to about 14″ tall. The typical height for a realistic bride and groom concept is between 8-9″ (20-23 cm) tall. The average sculpture weighs approximately 1-2 lbs (0.43-0.9 kg).
Can you make mine with actual clothes/outfits?
I am starting to use fabric for some specific effects for wedding gown details as well as superhero capes, but I do not intend to be fully dressing my custom figures with fabric anytime soon. If you think your concept should have certain details made of fabric, please let me know.
Can you make mine with actual doll hair?
Yes, but only for the long hair styles. I offer the option of
synthetic doll hair (high sheen, glossy) and
natural hair (soft, very fine, natural looking) and the results can be quite jaw dropping. With the natural hair, I also offer braids, french braids and more complicated ‘do’s’. Additional fees apply. *For the concepts/figures with actual hair (non-sculpted hair), I require a four (4) month advance confirmation as the amount of work is greater.

How far in advance should I order?
The earlier the better:
- Canada, USA: six (6) weeks in advance of shipping date. Effective May 1st 2016.
- International/overseas: eight (8) weeks in advance of shipping date. Effective May 1st 2016.
Even if some details are not confirmed, it’s best to book early. “RUSH” orders with less advance time may be accepted depending on availability but are subject to surcharge. No exceptions.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Shipping costs will be detailed in your quote according to your mailing address. My shipping and handling fees include careful packaging of each delicate concept. Your shipment will be sent via Express courrier – I use Express shipping so the sculpture doesn’t remain in a box longer than necessary and to avoid possible damage caused by vibrations/movement while in transit. I ship with Purolator, FedEx, UPS and Canada Post depending on the destination. Pay-on-delivery is offered within Canada only. Duty fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Do you ship to P.O. Box or MyUSaddress?
No. I ship to actual addresses with signature required.
Delivery date
If you need the toppers for a specific date (ahead of your event), that is the date we should work around.

How it works:
- Fill out the Contact form with your detailed ideas, desired delivery date and your full mailing address.
- A complete quote will be provided. Quotes are valid for 30 days and invoice payable within 30 days.
- A sketch will be created for your approval based on your concept.
Could you make a figure of my cat/dog/pet for me?
We all know how our pets are so very dear to us, much like a sibling. I have made figures of pets for wedding cake toppers, for birthdays and for urns as well. I would be honored to make one for you.
What type of pictures should I submit?
There are specific pictures to submit with preferred poses as well as lighting. These are pictures you can take at home with your cell phone and a self timer or the help of a friend.
How long will the sculpture last?
With proper care, the average polymer clay/epoxy sculpture will last for decades. My building method incorporates a very sturdy armature for this keepsake, one-of-a-kind sculpture. Basic care: Keep the sculpture away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, cold. Easy cleaning can be done with a fragrance free, oil free “baby wipe”. An occasional, light feather dusting or use of a compressed air can will suffice. Most clients like to keep their sculptures in a secure display case, out of reach from young curious hands and furry paws.
Will you do touch-ups and repairs?
Yes, that is something I offer free of charge to my customers, within reason. Shipping fees not included.
Are your custom cake toppers molded and casted?
Each cake topper/sculpture is made by hand according to each client’s requirements. Every completed made to order custom concept is numbered on the bottom of the platform and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to attest that it is
one-of-a-kind, 100% hand made and hand painted. Those are issued out at the end of the year, via electronic correspondence.
